I
had intermittent back pain that I had ignored for many years. However
one day I could not get out of bed. I had self-diagnosed my pain as
sciatica, and when I went to the doctors they prescribed ibuprofen and
muscle relaxants. Neither drug provided much relief. I also tried
acupuncture which didn’t give relief either.
I first came to Khalsa Chiropractic because I was ready to try
anything! I just didn’t know much about how chiropractic worked. Dr.
Mha Atma explained chiropractic and my issues very simply, and I liked
that. He answered all of my questions. His office is very cozy, like a
living room and I especially liked the variety of music.
He advised that I come twice a week initially. The results were
excellent. Over a period of several months I progressed from twice
weekly visits to once a month. Once I felt better however I stopped
coming. Then I returned after several years when my condition worsened
and medical doctors were recommending injections and surgery. I now
continue to come once per month and am doing very well.
I have continued with chiropractic care because it really works! I am
an active person and chiropractic keeps me moving and pain free. I
recommend chiropractic all the time, especially to those in their 60’s
like me. I tell people it works and it doesn’t require taking any
drugs. And I recommend they stick with it and not stop the care when
their immediate pain or symptoms disappear.
The staff here at Khalsa Chiropractic is warm, friendly and patient.
Hope is so flexible in helping me make scheduling adjustments. I really
appreciate the reminder calls and especially value my free birthday
adjustment. I now feel that chiropractic is a necessary component of
taking good care of my body!

I
hurt my lower back three years ago in an exercise class. The next year
I saw a chiropractor for a while and it improved. After a while the
pain came back—I had constant nagging pain in my back like a toothache.
The pain was radiating into my left thigh. I was taking all kinds of
medications and pain killers but it wasn’t helping the problem.
A good friend saw me walking and could tell I was in pain. He told me
about his doctor--Dr. Mha Atma—so I decided to come see him. I was
confident that it would help.
The staff at Khalsa Chiropractic and the doctor were all good people,
very nice to talk to, and I felt they were really here to help me. Dr.
Mha Atma suggested I come for treatment twice a week at first, and
within a few weeks I felt much better. Now after two months I am able
to walk with little or no pain.
I have
told all of my friends who have any pain in their body to try
chiropractic. I recommend it and feel very good about it and I hope I
can keep coming to stay healthy.

I
was having constant pain in my lower back and in my neck. The pain was
a 10 on a scale of one to ten. I was in a car accident last year. We
were hit from behind, and the whole time I received treatment (but no
adjustments) at another chiropractic office I was in pain and not
getting better. I took Vicodin and muscle relaxants and they didn’t
work at all.
My friends told me about Dr. Khalsa so, despite my doubts, I decided to
try chiropractic one last time because over years of pain no one was
able to help me.
Everyone at Khalsa Chiropractic was really nice and helpful. I liked
the video explaining the procedure and I appreciated Dr. Khalsa
explaining everything he was going to do and why.
My results with treatment at Khalsa Chiropractic have been great! My
back stopped hurting when I came twice a week and now we are down to
once per week. I feel 100 percent better. I also brought my
granddaughter, who had some back pain, to be checked out. She felt
better after two visits. I have been recommending people to this office
because this is the first time I have been helped and I want to share
the success.
Dr. Mha Atma Khalsa is wonderful. He knows what he is doing and is an
open and caring person. I like him a lot. He answers all my questions
and his staff is great. I can now say that I love chiropractic! Thank
you.

I
had headaches and tension and stress in my neck and shoulders for
several years. I took ibuprofen but didn’t like the idea of popping a
pill to take care of a problem that seemed treatable in other ways. My
friend Kris suggested I try chiropractic—I was a little doubtful but
mostly optimistic!
When I came to Khalsa Chiropractic everyone seemed very efficient and
friendly and the office was warm and inviting. Dr. Mha Atma recommended
that I see him on a weekly basis for a while, then every other week, and
that I pay attention to my diet and exercise.
After less than three months of chiropractic treatment my headaches and
neck tension have eased up considerably! My body and my mind feel
great!
Chiropractic is a simple practice but so effective. It’s healthy
maintenance for your body and you’ll feel wonderful! I would highly
recommend chiropractic care as a way to get your body back to its
natural state. I am so happy that I am able to live pain free without
taking any medication.
Thank you for everything you do! My life has changed because of your
care.

I
was having pain in my neck and my arm and my back. It was persistent
all the time but worse at night. Sometimes I was unable to turn my neck
at all without pain. I saw a doctor for my arm pain and the treatment
was to avoid typing. I also was taking 800 mg of ibuprofen. I didn’t
like taking it because I didn’t like the idea of taking meds just to
survive.
A coworker recommended chiropractic. I said he felt great after
treatment with Dr. Mha Atma. I had only been to a chiropractor before
when I was five years old.
My first impression of the office was that it felt more casual than
corporate. Dr. Mha Atma told me I would need regular treatments for a
couple of months. He also advised me that it would help to sleep on my
back.
After two months of treatment I feel like I’m taking a positive step
towards health. It has improved the way I feel and I haven’t had any
pain since starting treatment.
My parents both have chronic back issues and see chiropractors. It has
lessened their pain. I’ve been telling people about the benefits of
chiropractic and I think it’s a crucial part of a healthy life. I’m
glad I started treatment with Dr. Mha Atma because I felt sore and felt
like I was older than I really am!

I
had chronic lower back pain. I was unable to manage the pain without
neurological medications. The side effects were awful. Injections were
required. I was considered a candidate for surgery due to lumbar and
cervical degeneration.
A friend who was seeing a chiropractor in another city recommended that
I try chiropractic, and I found my way to Dr. Mha Atma’s office. I had
never been to a chiropractor before but I was optimistic that it would
help. My first experience of the office left me hopeful. Dr. Mha Atma
recommended that I see him twice weekly for a short time and then
weekly, and recommended some exercises as well.
I experienced relief of my pain with regular chiropractic visits. I
added acupuncture and swimming which helped even more. I have now been
a patient for a few years and I am doing very well. I no longer need
medication. I continue with preventative care every few weeks to manage
any pain.
I have told many people about my experience with chiropractic. It is a
great alternative for managing inflammation and staying healthy. My
advice for those just starting chiropractic care: Be patient—it may not
happen overnight. Ask questions. Be willing to do some work.
The
staff here at Khalsa Chiropractic has always been professional, helpful
and willing to work with my schedule. It has been a great experience.

When
I first came to Khalsa Chiropractic I was having severe lower back pain. The pain caused me to walk a little sideways
because my right leg was in so much pain.
The pain had lasted three years.
I was not able to sit properly, nor to sleep at night.
I
had been to several healers throughout the course of the three years. I went to a doctor who recommended a shot and
pills for the pain. They were not
effective most of the time. My
sister
recommended that I try a chiropractor and referred me to Khalsa
Chiropractic. I had never been to a
chiropractor before—I didn’t even know they existed!
I
had never been to an office like this before.
I was actually informed of the process I was going to go through. I didn’t know if it would help, but after the
first treatment here I was able to walk straight, so I was convinced that I was
in the right hands. Besides chiropractic
treatment, Dr. Mha Atma recommended some exercises that would help my back get
stronger, and to eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
After
six weeks of treatment, I feel very good.
I have not felt this way for three years. My back feels good and my leg pain is
gone. Chiropractic has helped my body
heal itself without having to use medications.
I
would definitely recommend chiropractic to other people, especially if they
have tried other options which didn’t work.
I feel that more people should be informed about the benefits of seeing
a chiropractor. I am very pleased with
the treatment I have received here and I strongly believe it has been the best
thing I’ve ever done for my low back problem.

I
have been a Khalsa Chiropractic patient since April 2003, over nine
years ago. The first time I came to see Dr. Mha Atma I walked into
the waiting room and was immediately aware of a very special energy and
felt very comfortable. I felt similarly upon meeting the
doctor. He is a healer. I
have continued chiropractic care because I have some chronic problems
from car accidents (rear ended). Chiropractic has consistently
relieved my chronic pain and improved my general sense of
well-being. I come for adjustments once or twice a month and
always leave feeling much better. I
have recommended many friends to Khalsa Chiropractic and they were all
very pleased. I encourage them to try chiropractic care both to improve
their health and to stay healthy. I recommend continuing chiropractic
treatment as a life-long health measure. I think it is very important
to maintaining good health and well-being over a lifetime. I rate Dr. Mha Atma and the Khalsa Chiropractic office as Quadruple A+, excellent and superb!

My
neck was constantly stiff and it hurt to turn my head left. I was
always getting bad tension headaches and migraines. I had been
experiencing a painful knot in my back for over six months. It hurt so
much that it was uncomfortable to sleep and interfering with my work
day. I would constantly be taking Advil and migraine medication.
I had been to see everyone—my primary care physician, a physical
therapist, a yoga instructor, a neurologist, and an acupuncturist…the
list goes on! My physician and neurologist just kept prescribing
migraine medication. The other people (physical therapist, yoga
instructor, acupuncturist) treated the symptoms and not the problem. I
was taking several migraine medications and felt dependent on them.
I decided to try chiropractic because I had tried everything else and
nothing helped! And I couldn’t afford to get massages and acupuncture
all the time. I was somewhat doubtful that chiropractic would help but
only because nothing had helped before.
I loved the office! It was cozy and homey and I love the “geode” room
full of crystals. I also loved how the doctor gives a monthly Wellness
Workshop and really cares about his patients. He taught me stretches
and explained which joints in my spine were locked.
I started out getting chiropractic adjustments twice a week and now
after a few months I am coming twice a month. The plan is very
effective, I feel much better, and the appointments only take five
minutes! I immediately feel better after my joints are unblocked.
I feel it is very important to be aware of your body. I was unaware how
much my locked joints were affecting every aspect of my life. I have
recommended chiropractic to other people I know. I tell them I love it
and it makes a huge difference. I actually look forward to the
appointments!
Dr. Mha
Atma truly cares about his patients and will take the time to walk you
through every step of the process. The office is a very comfy place
with apples and tea. They are also very flexible about appointment
times for those with busy schedules. Going to the chiropractor has
changed my life!

I had been experiencing lower back pain for over 20 years and neck and
shoulder pain and stiffness for two to three years. All of the pain was
pretty severe—it affected the quality of my life. I always felt stiff
which led to feeling tired. Most doctors would shrug and tell me to do
stretching exercises or would give me pain medication.
One of my co-workers is a patient of Dr. Mha Atma. One day when I was
discussing my neck and back issues she described how good she felt after
seeing him. She gave me Dr. Mha Atma’s phone number and the rest is
history. I had my doubts at first, but I was hopeful because I wanted
some sort of relief.
I was impressed from the first phone call with the helpfulness,
friendliness and kindness of the staff. Besides chiropractic treatment,
Dr. Mha Atma recommended exercises and we talked about diet and vitamin
supplements. It’s now been less than three months since I started
regular chiropractic treatment and I feel
much better. I have
more energy and less pain. And the treatment time is minimal which I
appreciate since I am an extremely busy person.
My results with chiropractic were so good that I suggested my son Brian
come—more for preventative care. He enjoys the treatment and
maintaining his health. I have already recommended chiropractic care to
another co-worker. It is amazing to me and to others that you don’t
have to live with constant pain.
I now
feel that chiropractic is an important part of maintaining good physical
health. It should be routine to go to a chiropractor just as you see
your dentist and physician. I enjoy Dr. Mha Atma’s care and the caring
that the entire staff has shown to me and my son. We enjoy coming to
the office.

When I first came to Khalsa Chiropractic I didn’t feel well—I was tired,
overweight and in pain. I had chronic pain in my lower back and
pain between my shoulder blades that wouldn’t correct itself after
several weeks. And my neck was stiff. The lower back pain
was from years of dancing and gymnastics—I first noticed a sharp pain
about 16 years ago. I couldn’t sleep well. Sometimes I couldn’t
move due to lower back pain.
I was told to take aspirin but I’m not interested in masking the
problem—I would rather get down to the cause and fix it. My
previous experience going to chiropractors for my lower back pain was
not helpful—it felt like they didn’t care about helping me and were more
interested in insurance and money.
My neighbor Rhansford Watson recommended Dr. Mha Atma. He was very
enthusiastic. I was doubtful.
Now I have to say that this has been the best experience. The
front desk ladies are kind and patient. There’s an earthiness and
style here (magazines, tea and apples) and a genuine feeling of caring
and healing. Dr. Mha Atma said I needed several weeks of twice
weekly treatment, then once weekly and now every two weeks. I
attended the Wellness Workshop and was inspired to lose weight and take
better care of myself.
I convinced my mom to come in for an adjustment. She didn’t
believe in chiropractic initially and now sees the benefits and is
seeing a chiropractor in Reno where she lives.
I’m definitely a chiropractic believer now and I recommend it because I
want everyone to feel better. This really works and is so
important. I love chiropractic—it has changed my life! I
feel so lucky to have found this place. I’m in good hands here and
will continue to recommend it and to come in for adjustments.

I
was exhausted nearly all the time and never experienced one day without
pain for more than 25 years. When I came to Khalsa Chiropractic I could
not lift my right arm to wash or brush my hair or even turn the air
conditioner on in my car. I have fibromyalgia which usually manifests
in my shoulders, neck and back…also arthritis in my neck and lower
back. For 10 years I had been mostly house bound.
I’ve had mediation, physical therapy, and Pilates with limited success.
I was still experiencing flu-like symptoms and fatigue. I tried taking
the medicine but it left me feeling dull-headed and even more
lethargic.
When I couldn’t pick up my right arm before having to make an important
trip, I asked an acquaintance for a referral and she had high praise for
Khalsa Chiropractic. I had been to a chiropractor 20 years ago and I
knew it couldn’t hurt but I wasn’t expecting great results.
I was irritated that I had to watch a video the first time I came but
after viewing it I felt better informed. I thought the office was cute
and I wasn’t sure Dr. Mha Atma would be able to help me because he was
so thin.
Dr. Mha Atma recommended I come three times a week at first but since I
was leaving on a trip I could only see him twice the first week. Then
he went out of town when I returned but I wanted to follow his advice so
I saw his associate. The first two treatments help me tremendously and
after three days I was able to completely move my arm normally. I
returned three time weekly for a short while, then twice weekly for a
few weeks, then once a week. I was feeling much better, had more
energy, my digestion improved and I was craving healthier food. I was
sleeping better and singing the doctor’s praises.
My husband started complaining about a sore back so I sent him here and
bought him a massage as a holiday gift. He’s not one to say a lot but
he doesn’t stay with things that don’t work for him. He comes regularly
now and he seems to have more energy. I definitely would recommend
chiropractic to anyone because it has helped me so much to feel planted
firmly in my body. So far it’s the only thing that has actually
worked. I’ve told everyone I’ve met who complains about pain. I’ve
even told my M.D.s.
I’m
grateful to be able to have chiropractic care. I wish everyone could
experience the kind of healthy benefits I have since following a
regimen. Dr. Mha Atma, Martha, Madeline and Hope all seem cheerful and
professional. I like this office.

I had severe pain radiating from my lower back through my right leg to
my toes. I was also experiencing some numbness. It was
incredibly debilitating—I couldn’t walk or move around for two weeks and
walked with a cane for another three weeks. I was diagnosed by an
internist with three bulging discs and was given Vicodin and an anti-inflammatory
medication. I took the drugs for the first week to relieve the pain;
however my condition did not improve. I do not like taking any
medications unless absolutely necessary and did not like the prospect of
taking them indefinitely.
I had thought about receiving chiropractic care for years, but I was
somewhat fearful of it. When this body breakdown happened I immediately
decided that spinal manipulation might help to relieve my symptoms.
I crawled into the office the first day because of my pain. Hope
immediately came to my aid. Dr. Mha Atma gave me a lot of information
about my condition. The office is very warm and welcoming and Dr. Mha
Atma is very knowledgeable. He recommended that I see him four times a
week the first two weeks, then twice per week and, after more
improvement, once a week.
I have improved tremendously! At first I was almost immobile. After
two weeks of care I had about 50 percent pain reduction. Within the
first month I had 90 percent pain relief! Now after two months of
consistent care I have 95 percent pain relief and I feel great!
Chiropractic has been an incredible help to me and I definitely
recommend it—and I’ve already recommended it to five other people. I
have greater stress relief and my posture is able to hold my body
better. I feel that chiropractic care is a necessary part of any
wellness program. I truly appreciate the care—it has helped me so much!

I
have been a Khalsa Chiropractic patient since the Stone Age…or at least
since the early 1980’s! I have always found Dr. Mha Atma to be
professional, caring, and light-hearted.
I have continued with
chiropractic for all these years because it always helps me feel
better…and because I love Dr. Mha Atma’s strong thumbs…and because it
enables me to continue my collection of angel cards (I get one on each
visit). I depend on Dr. Mha Atma’s knowledge and understanding of my
body to keep me pain free.
My auntie Betty is
also a long-time patient here and she loves it too!
I recommend
chiropractic care to folks who want to feel better and stay healthy
because the energy flow that keeps us healthy is so vital, and that is
what chiropractic is about. It is important to stay with it! The
benefits are multi-leveled.
The attention and
real care that we get here is evident in the sharing that goes on in the
waiting room. The diverse occupations and age groups come together to
keep ourselves healthy and invigorated!

I
had chronic pain and stiffness in my hip, getting slowly worse,
especially since I was thrown off my horse five years ago. It would get
worse after an hour of riding. It was moderately painful and
restrictive. I also had back and neck pain, for about a year. I was
frustrated with this problem and didn’t know what to do about it. My
yoga teacher recommended I see Dr. Mha Atma.
My impression of Dr.
Mha Atma was of quiet competence. He recommended a few exercises and
some ongoing chiropractic care. I experienced almost immediate
improvement in pain and range of motion. Chiropractic has helped me a
lot, so I’ve been telling my friends about it. After almost three
months I still love coming to my treatments because my body always feels
so much better after!

For
a few months I had spasm in my lower back and tightness in my upper
back. It was a very stressful time in my life and I was having trouble
sleeping. My friend and co-worker Rahimah Shah saw my pain and
convinced me to call and make an appointment to see Dr. Mha Atma.
I had never been to a
chiropractor before. I was nervous about him cracking my back. I
really liked that he carefully described the process, my condition and
what he would do. He started a series of chiropractic treatments and
also gave me recommendations about my posture, yoga exercises, and
vitamins.
The treatment
relieved my immediate pain and progressively helped relax my whole
body. Dr. Mha Atma taught me to better care for my overall body and
mind. I now recommend people to see him because of his knowledge about
chiropractic and healing. I am a believer!

For
two weeks my lower back was severely locked up and I was experiencing
intense pain. The pain was shooting down my legs. It interfered with
my home and my work life. I went to an acupuncturist and a
chiropractor. Although I felt some relief, it was temporary.
I was having
chronic back problems. I really wanted to address the underlying
reasons. And I wanted to find relief without prescription meds.
I first came to
Khalsa Chiropractic through my insurance plan. I found it very homey,
warm and welcoming. Dr. Mha Atma recommended a series of chiropractic
treatments, a high dose of vitamin D, and daily stretching exercises.
After three weeks of 2 or 3 sessions a week, my pain level went from an
8.5 to a 3, and even better after that.
I recommend
chiropractic to others because it has helped me immensely. I think it
should be covered by all insurance. It should be used as a model for
preventative care instead of waiting to get sick to be treated.
I appreciate all
of the knowledge Dr. Mha Atma has shared. His staff is very sweet and
professional. I also enjoy being able to get in and out of the office
so quickly.

I
had constant pain in my middle and lower back for decades—since the
1980s. The pain fluctuated from mild to severe. When it was bad I would
have to take Tylenol or ibuprofen. I have sought treatment from many
sources: physical therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic. The usual
diagnosis was related to the sciatic nerve. Chiropractic has been the
one treatment that has consistently helped me.
When I came to Khalsa Chiropractic I had not had any chiropractic
treatment in a few years. I had no doubt it would help me. I found Dr.
Mha Atma through my insurance plan. I liked the location and the staff
and found the doctor to be very kind and nurturing. And the location
was convenient.
Dr. Mha Atma recommended frequent treatments for a few weeks along with
exercises. It has been three months since I started and I feel 100
percent better. The time involved had been little compared to the
benefits.
I can see and feel the benefits of this treatment. It is a small
investment to make to feel better. I highly recommend chiropractic and
I only wish insurance companies would provide better coverage for its
use. I consider chiropractic care to be good preventative medicine in
addition to treatment for a painful condition.
I love
the atmosphere at this office. The experience of coming her is pleasant
and calming. Also the tea, great magazines and the apples make the good
benefits received even better.

I
had a throbbing pain in my lower back for months. It affected
everything I did. I had the pain on and off for about ten years but in
the last few months it was much worse.
I had been to a
chiropractor only a few times nearly 10 years ago after I first hurt my
back at work. A friend referred me to Khalsa Chiropractic. I found it
to be a comfortable place. Dr. Mha Atma recommended a series of
adjustments beginning twice weekly along with a few exercises to loosen
and strengthen my back.
I felt better
within the first few weeks of treatment. Now, after a little more than
two months, I feel like a new person. Chiropractic care has helped me
so much that I have been recommending it to several of my friends. I
feel great!

I
had lower back pain most of my life, and neck pain lasting for
months. I had a hard time sitting, standing, and bending. Every
time I went to the doctor for help they gave me more medication. I
was taking lots of pain medication—all it did was make me sleepy.
I had never been to a chiropractor. I didn’t think it could help—I
thought medication could heal anything or anyone. But I had tried
so many different ways to stop my back pain and nothing had
worked…and Dr. Mha Atma’s office was down the street from my house.
So I finally came to see him.
The thought of coming was scary but the office felt homely and
comfortable. Dr. Mha Atma is awesome! He advised me to change my
sleeping positions, and the way I sit at work during the day—to hold
my neck and back straight. Each treatment I kept feeling better and
better. The first visit took an hour, and Dr. Mha Atma explained
everything we would be doing. After that each visit is around 15
minutes.
I now recommend chiropractic to everyone I know. I feel it is the
best way to stop pain, stiffness and soreness in your body. I now
feel less stressed, less sore, and I can move in ways that before
would have been very uncomfortable.
Dr.
Mha Atma recommends lifestyle changes including diet, exercise and
sleeping habits. All of his treatment is done without the use of
drugs and surgical procedures. His approach to health care and
wellness is wonderful.

I
was not able to put any pressure on my right leg because of pain in
my right knee. It started in November when I pulled muscles in my
knee and had to walk with a walker and then a cane. My main doctor
at Cedars sent me for physical therapy where I was treated with hot
and cold and light exercise. I was getting better very slowly.
My daughter suggested I go to Dr. Mha Atma at Khalsa Chiropractic
for treatment. I had not been to see him for over a year and I knew
he had helped me before. I returned to the office in July, eight
months after my problem began. I was again very impressed with Dr.
Mha Atma’s ability and with the professional staff.
Dr. Mha Atma recommended I come twice a week for treatment and he
adjusted my spine each time. Within two treatments I was able to
walk without a cane and after two more visits I was able to walk up
stairs without help. I am continuing with treatment to see how good
I can get.
It would be a pleasure to recommend Dr. Mha Atma because he worked a
miracle for me at age 71. I have told many many people about my
chiropractic experience. I think chiropractic is important to
maintain good health, especially with Dr. Mha Atma.
If I had come to this office last November, I would not have gone
through the pain and frustration I experienced. I am deeply
grateful.

I had pain every morning in my lower back for about six years. And
my knee was painful for about a year. I also had neck pain. I
could no longer play soccer because of the knee. The back got so
bad that I was doubled over because of the pain.
I’m scared of doctors and never saw anyone about my back. The
doctor who examined my knee thought it might be a torn ligament.
It finally got to the point that I couldn’t walk because of the back
pain. My friend Saxon recommended Dr. Mha Atma. I was hopeful but
a bit skeptical.
I discovered that Khalsa Chiropractic is the friendliest office and
most concerned with their patients’ well-being of any health care
office I have been to. Dr. Mha Atma recommended back exercises and
a chiropractic treatment plan. After the first day I felt much
better. After the first month I had little to no pain and after
three months I had no more knee pain, back pain or neck pain. My
legs, which were of different length because of imbalance in my
hips, were now the same length.
I
am a believer now. I recommend chiropractic to others and tell them
it clears your mental space even when you are not in pain. I am so
happy that I overcame my own stubbornness and gave chiropractic a
try. I am so thankful for this office.

My back problems were related to curvature in my spine. I have had
lower back trouble since I was a teenager. I also have had neck
pain. My condition has worsened over the years and was also
aggravated last year by a bicycle accident. The pain was as high as
8 on a scale of 1 to 10.
I came to Khalsa Chiropractic on the recommendation of my wife. The
location was right and I knew their reputation was good. I found
Dr. Mha Atma to be very personable and willing to explain all his
procedures. He recommended back exercises as well as chiropractic
treatment.
After two months of treatment I can now turn my head to look over my
shoulder. I do not get fatigued sitting. My pain is much reduced.
I sleep much more soundly and feel more rested.
Chiropractic treatment is often overlooked but is very helpful. I
will continue to be a patient. I highly recommend it to others who
are looking for relief of pain. Comfort has returned. I look
forward to my visits.

I had horrible lower back and neck pain for years. It was major
pain. At its worst I could hardly stand up after sitting awhile. I
took Advil—it was not much help.
A friend said Khalsa Chiropractic had changed her life and gave me
the phone number. I had had good experiences with chiropractic in
the past so I did not hesitate to come.
The office was very peaceful and professional. Dr. Mha Atma
recommended chiropractic treatment and exercises. Now four months
after starting treatment I have had huge changes and have never felt
better. I am going to maintain regular adjustments to stay
healthy. My daughter has also come in for slight scoliosis and back
pain and felt much better.
Dr. Mha Atma is caring, thorough and gentle. The staff and service
is impeccable and make this a lovely experience.

I had severe pain in my neck, left shoulder and the left side of my
upper back for months. I was unable to turn my head to the left
without severe pain and I had difficulty driving. I was taking
Allieve and/or Advil daily even thought I knew they were harsh on
the stomach and that they only dealt with symptoms, not causes.
I had never tried chiropractic care before but I needed help fast!
I saw online that Dr. Mha Atma took my health insurance and had good
reviews on Yelp so I decided to come to Khalsa Chiropractic. I
wasn’t sure it would help.
When I arrived I found a nice, cozy, homey office with kind staff.
Dr. Mha Atma is very thorough in explaining how everything works.
He recommended I come for treatment twice a week for about a month,
then once a week for several weeks, and then maintenance care. He
also recommended exercises and a good diet.
I felt immediate relief from the first adjustment and was able to
turn my head! I gradually felt less pain over time. Now after two
months I am feeling great. My husband, Malcolm, has recently become
a patient due to his lower back pain and neuropathy. So far he is
more aware of his body and posture and has less pain.
I
definitely recommend chiropractic now and have told all my work
colleagues about it. It has many benefits—relief from pain is just
the beginning. I am more aware of my posture when sitting and
walking. I am grateful that I found Khalsa Chiropractic!

I
had been having lower back pain and stiffness for a few years,
accelerated by stress and getting worse in the past 12 to 15 months.
The lower back pain became severe. My neck was
also stiff and painful. The pain had gotten so
bad that I had difficulty moving and walking.
The pain discouraged me from exercising.
I tried getting a better more
supportive chair to sit in but it didn’t help much.
I was taking 3 to 6 tabs a day of Motrin.
I had some massages, took hot baths, and tried to keep exercising.
My friend Yvonne Lee told me
about Khalsa Chiropractic and the relief she had experienced from
treatment here. She was kind enough to give me a
gift certificate and I took advantage of it. I
had never been to a chiropractor and I was a little ambivalent about
trying it. I work in health care and have spent
my time with medical doctors so my exposure to and belief in other
possibilities was limited.
I found the doctor and staff at
Khalsa Chiropractic to be very knowledgeable and professional in
their communication and interactions. Dr. Mha
Atma recommended a series of adjustments and I attended his
excellent Wellness Workshop where he thoroughly explained a holistic
perspective on health. He encouraged me to do
more exercise and to follow an anti-inflammatory diet.
Two months after beginning
treatment here I have experienced significant improvement.
My body is more flexible. My pain is much
less. I am now walking 90 minutes a day and have
lost eight pounds. I am feeling much better!
Now that I’ve been exposed to
the art and science of chiropractic and experienced such positive
results I am very comfortable sharing my experience with others.
I feel that chiropractic is very effective and I can see that
the patient must follow recommendations, be a team player and
participate in their own health care. It is very
reassuring to be cared for by professionals like Dr. Mha Atma who
demonstrate real interest in their patients and are knowledgeable
about what it takes to regain health.

For
three years I had lower back pain and severe pain in my right hip.
Bending was difficult and it was difficult to raise my right leg.
Sitting for long periods was very uncomfortable. Over the last six
months the pain became severe.
I had x-rays and
very expensive physical therapy that did not help. They explained
that I had a weak muscle. The doctor gave me pain pills which I did
not take because I am not a huge fan of medication.
Khalsa
Chiropractic was highly recommended. I just knew my pain was not
being properly diagnosed. My past experience with chiropractic was
not helpful so I had some doubts, but I found the office and Dr. Mha
Atma to be serene, respectful and helpful. He recommended
adjustments and some exercises. Within a couple of months I am
almost pain free all the time and the duration of pain-free episodes
is increasing dramatically.
My husband is
a chiropractic patient and Dr. Mha Atma’s treatments have reduced
his neck and back pain and relieved stress. I am recommending
chiropractic now to lots of other people—over 20 so far. How I feel
is specific to Dr. Mha Atma since the other chiropractors I visited
were not helpful. I think he is fantastic—conscientious, very in
tune and aware.

I was
experiencing numbness in my side and in my leg and my doctors could
not diagnose the cause. I also had a persistent stiff neck and
recurring migraines.
The numbness
persisted for two months and was steadily getting worse. My doctors
were on the verge of diagnosing me with “possible MS” since they
couldn’t find any other cause. I was about to start taking MS
medication to see if it had any effect. I wasn’t comfortable with
this so I started looking for other options.
My family
receives chiropractic care, but I had never tried it. Two coworkers
recommended Dr. Mha Atma. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I hoped
it would at least make me feel better.
The office was
really lovely! The staff, Dr. Mha Atma, and the entire experience
was soothing and friendly. Dr. Mha Atma recommended frequent visits
to start until I saw improvement, as well as vitamin supplements. I
felt better immediately, and over the next few weeks the tingling
noticeably subsided. Now (a few months later) it is almost
completely gone!
My parents and
brothers have had chiropractic care for various reasons—headaches,
stiff necks and back problems. It has helped them all a lot and I
don’t know why I took so long to try it for myself. My health and
well being have improved dramatically, and I definitely recommend
that everyone try chiropractic. I love it.
Thank you for
the care, warmth and healing!

Over thirty years
ago, when my son was working in the chiropractic college health
clinic, needing hours and patients to get his license, I had my very
first chiropractic treatment. I was in good health but became his
patient to help him out and to see what chiropractic was all about.
Since then I have
had regular adjustments—once per month or more if I have a problem.
When I come to the office it always feels like a relaxing, wonderful
place and, of course, I think the doctor is terrific!
Since that first
visit when my son was still in school, he has treated me at times
for hip pain, and for neck pain following an auto accident, and for
various other complaints that arise from time to time. I have
always improved greatly with his treatments.
Chiropractic has
helped me stay healthy. I truly believe that I’m in pretty good
shape for an 83-year-old thanks to regular chiropractic
adjustments. Everyone in my family gets chiropractic care and it
has helped them all greatly. I have recommended chiropractic to
numerous friends and it has helped all who tried it. I believe it’s
the only way to go. I love it.
My advice to
someone who has recently started chiropractic care: Be patient. It
will help!
My son, Mha
Atma, is a talented chiropractor. I feel very fortunate. He has
helped me so much over the years!

I had severe
headaches, neck tightness, and shoulder aches for years and lower
back aches for months. It was all getting worse. I had tried other
chiropractors, but hadn’t had any treatment for at least a year. It
had been always the same treatment (heat packs and stimulation
therapy along with adjustment) which released some of the stress
temporarily. I wouldn’t take any medications.
My friend Cindy
referred me to Dr. Mha Atma. The office was friendly and
welcoming. Dr. Mha Atma has this healing aura about him that is
soothing and caring. He recommended I come at least twice a week to
get me back in shape.
The results have
been amazing!!! I’ve had ONE episode of a headache in the past
three months, in comparison to every weekend. By the first three
weeks I felt the difference, and even though I graduated to seeing
Dr. Mha Atma once a week, I continue to come as my body needs it due
to extensive traveling.
I absolutely
recommend chiropractic care now to people I know who want to improve
their health. Coming here has encouraged my well-being and has
helped all of my conditions. I feel very POSITIVE about my
experience at Khalsa Chiropractic!
Every time I
walk out of the office, I feel I have wings! My body feels free of
tension and tightness, ready to take on the day. I am more aware of
the stress that I inflict on myself and how to avoid it—not just by
chiropractic adjustments, but also by all the wonderful information
about self-care that Dr. Mha Atma offers.

The
pain in my hip and lower back first began in April 2009.
The medical diagnosis was bursitis, sciatica and joint
inflammation. I had three steroid injections and then had
inflammation throughout my body and took oral steroids. In
November 2009 the pain returned a few days after I lifted a
TV. I had three more epidurals and there was no relief.
The pain was severe: 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. I was
taking strong pain killers. I continued to have severe pain
and could barely walk and could not sit very long.
A family
member suggested I see Dr. Mha Atma. I had never been to a
chiropractor and I was doubtful. But I came—just before
Christmas 2009. The office seemed very professional and
quiet. Dr. Mha Atma recommended treatment at an initial
frequency of three times weekly plus monthly massage
therapy.
I started
treatment near the end of December and by April I was pain
free. I have continued treatment twice monthly and have had
no recurrence (through September 2010) I now tell everyone
I meet about the benefits of chiropractic. Other family
members who are chiropractic patients have also experienced
great relief.
Thank
you!

I had a
bad fall last December. Four months later I bent over and
my left hip locked. My lower back was in excruciating
pain. I couldn’t sit and I couldn’t walk. I was
miserable.
I saw a
chiropractor for the problem and felt a little better after
one visit, but the next day the pain was even worse! I just
wanted to feel some relief and be able to stand up straight
again without wanting to cry. I am a believer in
chiropractic and knew it could help me.
I found
Khalsa Chiropractic because I live nearby and the office
seemed inviting. The doctor, the staff and the office made
an immediate positive impression. The environment has a
very healing energy. Dr. Mha Atma recommended regular
adjustments, vitamin D, and attendance at the Wellness
Workshop (which was great!).
In the
past four months I have felt tremendous relief as a result
of chiropractic care. The severe pain I was in has
completely gone. I’ve continued with treatment because I’m
convinced that chiropractic care helps to maintain health
and well being. It has decreased my pain, improved my mood
and helped give me an optimistic outlook on life.
I
encouraged my mother to come see Dr. Mha Atma and she was
very resistant at first, but now she’s a regular and happy
chiropractic patient too. I have recommended chiropractic
to a number of friends. I definitely feel chiropractic has
helped me and I see that it has helped my mom. I plan to
continue to get care and recommend it to others. I enjoy
coming here and I always feel better when I leave!

I had
severe back pain for over two months. I am typically an
active person—I swim, bike, walk, etc. I couldn’t do any of
those things and I felt that I had aged 30 years.
I saw an
M.D. specialist who gave no treatment except high doses of
ibuprofen which made me quite sick. Now, I had low back
pain and GERD (from the ibuprofen).
I came to
Khalsa Chiropractic out of desperation. I had not been to a
chiropractor for 20 years. I was not at all sure
chiropractic would help.
The
doctor and his staff were friendly, calm, and very nice.
Dr. Mha Atma recommended specific stretches and twice-weekly
adjustments. At first I only felt a little better, but
after four weeks I had marked improvement and was able to
reduce my treatment schedule to once weekly. It’s been six
weeks since my first visit and I am 98% better now! I am
swimming, walking and biking again and it feels great! And
I plan to start a yoga class soon.
I’ve
told at least ten other people about my great chiropractic
experience. I feel very positive about it. And grateful!

I was a
Khalsa Chiropractic patient in the 1980s and 1990s but
drifted away and hadn’t been here in over 10 years. I
came back in 2010 because of lower back problems and a pinched
nerve in my neck. I was also experiencing depression and
nerve problems and was suffering from a lack of energy from
prescription drugs for sleep, depression and pain.
My
medical doctor kept prescribing more pills and the physical
therapy sessions did little for my back and pinched nerve.
When I
returned here, Dr. Mha Atma suggested that I come in for
treatment twice a week for awhile. He also recommended some
nutritional supplements (primarily fish oil, Vitamin D and
magnesium) and that I read the “Inflammation Syndrome”
book. Since returning for treatment, my depression is gone,
my back feels better, my nerve problems are gone, and thanks
to continuing daily yoga practice and a healthy diet and
supplements and chiropractic adjustments (continuing now
once weekly) I feel better than I have in years!

I had a
constant pain in my neck. I was unable to comfortably turn
my neck to the left, among other related restraints. It
also affected my sleep—I was unable to sleep on one side and
turning over was painful, as was sleeping in any position.
It was a problem for months, with some days worse than
others.
I saw
another chiropractor who sort of listened to my complaints,
but his treatment didn’t seem to work. He was never really
able to alleviate the problem. Advil was my drug of choice,
but I wasn’t keen on taking it for prolonged periods. But
if I didn’t take it the pain recurred. I knew there had to
be a better way.
Khalsa
Chiropractic was recommended to me by a dear friend who I
trust. She had switched to Dr. Mha Atma from a different
chiropractor and was very happy with the change. I had
always been skeptical of chiropractic—it made me nervous. I
liked Dr. Mha Atma and trusted him pretty much immediately.
He has a very calming healing way about him. He recommended
twice weekly visits for a few weeks at first, followed by
once weekly visits. Now I’m trying out less frequent visits
hoping to settle in at perhaps one visit a month.
After a
month or two of visits, for the first time in years I was
able to turn my head to both directions to breath while
swimming. This may sound trivial, but for me it’s huge! I
can also sleep on either side again without pain!
Now I
am a strong believer in chiropractic, as long as you find
the right doctor for yourself. I have recommended it to
about ten people. This experience has been a turnaround for
me. I appreciate Dr. Mha Atma’s way of listening to the
patient and taking into account their concerns. I always
feel better after a visit. He’s also very positive and
seems to know exactly what to do for me. And kudos to his
great staff as well!

I had
severe lower back pain. I had been immobile for eight days
and had to buy a walker and use it to even get to the
bathroom. It was the most severe pain of my life.
Any time
I had been to an MD before for similar problems I was
prescribed pain killers and muscle relaxants with very
little examination. I had never been to a chiropractor
before and was skeptical. I was referred to Khalsa
Chiropractic by another former skeptic who said that Dr. Mha
Atma had “healing hands.”
I was
desperate for any help. I called Dr. Mha Atma and he spent
ten minutes on the phone with me, even though I was not yet
his patient. When I hobbled into the office with my walker,
I was surprised at the vibe of the office and staff—relaxed
and friendly, not clinical at all. Dr. Mha Atma recommended
stretching, use of cold and heat, vitamins, and chiropractic
treatment two to three times a week at first.
Within a
few days I was able to get by without the walker, and within
a few weeks I was much better with mobility restored. Now
three months later I am doing well and coming for
adjustments twice a month.
Chiropractic has helped me tremendously. Now I am not so
skeptical! I appreciate Dr. Mha Atma’s gentle manner and
sense of humor. It is a significant contribution to the
treatment.

For two
weeks I had horrible back spasms that left me on the floor.
The pain was shooting into my leg. It was severe! I was
taking Motrin and trying to stay away from Vicodin. My
close friend suggested I see Dr. Mha Atma, and he was only
one block from my house. It was meant to be!
I had
experienced chiropractic care before, and I was confident it
would help. The doctor and his staff were very warm and
welcoming, and anxious to help. Dr. Mha Atma recommended
twice weekly treatments and some stretching exercises. I
started to feel better after the first two visits and
improved quickly thereafter. My sinus problems also
improved as a result of the treatment.
My
mother saw a chiropractor for her carpal tunnel problem and
it helped her. I strongly recommend chiropractic to anyone
looking for better health. Chiropractic care is painless
and helps improve more than just the problem at hand—it
makes you healthier.

Before I
first came to Khalsa Chiropractic I was having a lot of back
pain. I never went to the doctor about it because I don’t
like to go—they like to give a lot of medication and I don’t
want to take it. In 2006 a friend of mine recommended me to
Dr. Mha Atma. It was my first time to see a chiropractor.
I had no idea if it would help but I was willing to try
because I was told many years before that I was going to end
up in a wheelchair because of my back.
This
office made me feel at home and comfortable. Dr. Mha Atma
recommended chiropractic treatment and various exercises.
The results were very good—within a few months I felt so
much better.
I didn’t
come for a few years until recently I was in an accident—hit
from the front by a taxi very hard. My chest and back were
bruised and soon I had pain in my shoulders and upper back
and lower back. I came back to Khalsa Chiropractic and I
soon began to feel better. Within two months I felt great
again.
I have
continued with chiropractic care because it keeps my spine
in good shape and makes me feel so good. My girlfriend came
here in a wheelchair and she is walking now. I recommend
chiropractic to people who want to feel better because I
know it will help them. I think it’s the best. Everybody
here is so nice and caring and that is very important. The
doctor is the best at what he does and I will always be
grateful to him.

I
have had lower back
pain for at least six years. My neck has been stiff even longer with
decreasing range of motion (not good for changing lanes while driving).
I have had aching around my shoulder blade for years. The lower back
pain was such that I would stay in bed after I woke up and wait until
the pain was better to get up. I would lie down frequently during the
day to rest.
I did not seek
medical attention for my condition. I have family members with
arthritis. I was functioning so I just lived with whatever pain I had.
I did not want to become a slave to medication. I fear side effects.
A long time before my
symptoms began, I heard a friend say that she benefited from
chiropractic treatment. I thought it was a good idea, but I never acted
on it. I got a gift certificate for Khalsa Chiropractic for Christmas
and was very excited. I was grateful, curious and had no expectations,
but I was sure that something good would happen. A plus was that the
office is about five minutes from home.
I found the office to
be beautiful and homey. The staff is very serene, and the doctor has a
peaceful spirit. Everyone was very helpful and genuinely happy to be
so. Dr. Mha Atma recommended that I come for treatment twice weekly at
first, since my spine was so “stuck.”
I realize that my
treatment was the result of the doctor’s years of study and practice,
but I thought it was magical. After the first treatment, I had no more
lower back pain. I have slept pain free ever since. Further treatments
over two months have progressively eased all symptoms. The videos,
written materials, workshop and conversations with the doctor have made
me realize how important spinal health is to life quality. I am now
pain free, have much better posture, and can stand for much longer
periods of time. I have much greater range of motion. I thought belly
fat was why I couldn’t touch my toes. Not so—after chiropractic
treatments I can do that now. Leg varicosities are less prominent. I
can sleep without shifting positions all night.
I’ve told about 15
people about chiropractic—everyone I know in my small circle. I’ll keep
telling people about it. I think everyone should know the benefits of
chiropractic care. It has been life-changing for me. I regret not
having known what I know now sooner. When you know how all of your
body is affected by spinal health, you have to look into chiropractic
care!

I was
involved in a high-impact car accident. I was hit on the
left side and front from the air bag. I began treatment two
weeks after the accident. I had aches, pain, and stiffness
all over my body and headache. I could not sleep through
the night. I had to ride the bus and it was painful to be
in a jerky vehicle.
I was
referred to Khalsa Chiropractic by a friend. I knew that
for such a condition chiropractic is very effective. I was
happy to be a patient of Dr. Mha Atma. I found the office
to be a very warm, friendly, highly professional practice.
Dr. Mha Atma recommended lots of chiropractic treatment
along with exercise and Traumeel.
The
recovery has been great: Slow but complete relief from
pain, more flexibility, and less stress. I recommend
chiropractic care and have told many folks about it. I
would not hesitate to do it again. I plan to stay with
maintenance care because we are not getting any younger!
Thank you for your kindness and skillful care.

Lower
back pain and tightness was bothering me for at least six
months. I felt pain while walking and it was difficult to
do any exercise. The various doctors I saw just told me to
take over the counter pain medications. Excedrin Back Pain
gave me temporary relief.
I decided
to see a chiropractor because the medication never solved
the problem or gave me complete relief and I wanted to be
able to work out again. I appreciated the very friendly
atmosphere at Khalsa Chiropractic. The staff is very
helpful and the doctor is friendly and professional.
Dr. Mha
Atma emphasized the importance of proper sitting and proper
stretching. He recommended a series of chiropractic
adjustments. After twice weekly visits for about two months
the tightness and back pain were gone. It no longer hurts
to walk, and I am more flexible now.
I feel
that chiropractic is a necessary ingredient to staying
healthy. Chiropractic care offers lasting positive
results. I’ve recommended it to a number of friends. The
location is convenient and I really appreciate the staff.
This is a positive place to be!

I
decided to try chiropractic care as a result of not one but
three rear end accidents over a period of several
years. I had severe back spasms for years. Physical therapy
through my primary doctor didn’t help all that much.
Khalsa Chiropractic is in my neighborhood so I thought I’d
give it a try. I had never been to a chiropractor before.
I was
favorably impressed on my first visit by the doctor’s staff
and the very nice office. I started regular chiropractic
treatment and bit by bit my back improved. After four
months of treatment I rarely experienced painful back
spasms. My back feels much better. I am very pleased with
the results.
I
continue treatment now to prevent a recurrence of spasms and
preserve the improvement. I encourage anyone starting
chiropractic care to stay with the treatment as long as
possible until symptoms have disappeared.
I have
enjoyed my relationship with everyone at Khalsa Chiropractic
and will recommend your caring service to anyone who has
back problems. Thank you!

I
first came to Khalsa Chiropractic because I was experiencing
chronic pain at the base of my neck and down to my
shoulders, along with a mysterious tingling/needle sensation
in my forearm. I’d seen chiropractors at other times in my
life and the result was always positive so I decided to try
it again. Khalsa Chiropractic is in my neighborhood so I
came here hoping they could help.
Dr.
Mha Atma seemed like a very easy going person and everyone
in the office was very nice. He recommended a course of
treatment of three visits weekly for a few weeks, then twice
a week for several weeks, then once a week for a few weeks.
The adjustments definitely worked, and the progress was
gradual but measurable. All of my pain was alleviated after
about three or four adjustments.
It’s
been almost four months since I started treatment and I’m
now coming once or twice a month. I’ve continued because
the results I got were exactly what I was hoping to achieve,
and because I feel better overall when my spine is aligned.
My neck pain is gone, my neck doesn’t get stiff anymore, and
overall my body feels more balanced.
I
would recommend chiropractic care because I have found it
very effective. Most medical doctors treat pain with
harmful medication and surgery, and I think much of that can
be avoided. I encourage anyone just starting chiropractic
care to complete the course of treatment that Dr. Mha Atma
recommends before deciding if it works or not—one or two
visits is not enough to judge accurately.
I also
recommend that new patients attend Dr. Mha Atma’s health and
wellness seminar. It is a great reminder of how important
it is to take care of ourselves—without your health, what do
you have?

I had
severe pain in my lower back and my legs for three weeks. I
could not walk without a walker. I had problems sleeping
because of the pain in my back and calf, and in back of my
whole right leg. The pain was a 10+. I couldn’t walk or
put pressure on my leg. A doctor at the Kaiser emergency
room gave me pain pills and muscle relaxants, and said that
eventually the pain would lessen, but might not go away.
A friend
gave me a gift certificate to see Dr. Mha Atma, and told me
I could get great relief if I kept up the treatment. I
found that he was right—Dr. Mha Atma is the greatest! He
had me come in for frequent treatments and recommended
simple exercises and his Wellness Workshop. After three
treatments I did not need my walker, but I was walking
slowly. Now after two months I can walk without pain, touch
my toes, and ride my bike.
I told
my roommate about Dr. Mha Atma and now she is coming
regularly and feeling better. I pass out the doctor’s
business cards frequently. I feel new, like I have been
healed. I can go about my business without any back pain.
I feel blessed that I can now move, walk and bend my body
with ease. I look forward to starting yoga soon!

I
had neck pain and frequent headaches. My neck had been
hurting for seven years, since I was 16 years old. I could
not move my neck to the left.
Previously, I had tried muscle relaxers prescribed by my
doctor. However, they only seemed to work for about a
12-hour period, and then the pain would always come back. I
also took Tylenol and Advil. I did not like the muscle
relaxers because they made my very drowsy and became an
inconvenience to my every day life.
I had
always been hesitant to see a chiropractor and get
“cracked;” however a neighbor of mine informed me that it
was probably the best and only solution to relieve my pain.
I had my doubts, but I finally decided to give it a try.
I felt
completely at ease with the office, the doctor and the idea
of chiropractic almost as soon as I stepped in the door. I
was very comfortable and had full trust in Dr. Mha Atma. He
recommended being aware of my posture, paying more attention
to sleeping habits, staying on top of my diet, and some
chiropractic adjustments.
Now, four
months later, I have absolutely no pain in my neck. My neck
pains have been a burden on my life since I was 16. After
seven years, with the help of Dr. Mha Atma, everything is
much better.
My
mother and father are both patients here. Chiropractic has
helped them relax and feel more comfortable on a daily
basis. Chiropractic is a quick and easy process that can
change your physical life forever. I truly enjoy everything
about this office. The customer care is amazing and the
service is prompt and efficient. My headaches are much less
frequent and my neck pain is gone. Thank you so much for
taking me out of my misery!

I had a
fall, and for several months afterward I had lower back pain
and severe pain in my right shoulder and my right knee. It
was painful to raise my right arm. My doctor diagnosed my
problem as arthritis. I took Tylenol for the pain.
My doctor
suggested I see a chiropractor and I found Khalsa
Chiropractic in my insurance company’s list. I had been to
a chiropractor in the past and he had helped my back pain,
so I expected it would help again.
I found
Dr. Mha Atma and his staff to be very professional and
caring. All of my symptoms improved almost immediately and
vanished with treatment over the last few months. The
results have been fantastic—my body is now entirely pain
free.
I
highly recommend chiropractic care to others. My experience
at Khalsa Chiropractic has been a blessing that my body and
mind were ready to receive. It has added a new dimension to
my physical being. Thank you with much gratitude.

I had
ongoing pain in my middle back and neck which became severe
from time to time. The pain was debilitating at times.
Other chiropractors did not seem to get a handle on
relieving my pain. The last one I saw went through the
motions but did not communicate adequately.
I took
ibuprofen and at times Vicodin. The Vicodin was horrible
and dragged me down and I worried about the ibuprofen’s
affect on my stomach and liver.
My first
impressions of Khalsa Chiropractic were excellent—a relaxed
office atmosphere. The doctor talked to me about proper
exercise technique and made suggestions to improve my food
intake. The treatment was effective—within two weeks my
pain was greatly decreased. Now I would strongly recommend
good chiropractic care to others who are suffering, and I
feel that chiropractic treatment is awesome.
Dr.
Mha Atma’s technique works. The treatments are quick and
effective. He truly seems to care. He laid out a treatment
program in the beginning and it has worked very well. I
truly enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in the office and the
personnel are delightful. Dr. Mha Atma is a caring
professional who practices what he preaches.

GILBERTO

For
almost two years I was feeling very intense pain in my lower
back, middle back and upper back. I also had pain in my
waist and my right knee, weakness in my neck, and
headaches. The pain was about 8 or 9 out of 10, and
sometimes 10. I took Motrin and ibuprofen sometimes for
pain, but I felt they were the worst option and sometimes
they caused stomach problems. The doctors I went to seemed
more interested in some kind of detoxification program and
did not really provide a solution to my pain. I did try
some chiropractic treatment, but I was not satisfied with
the doctor, who seemed more interested in my money than my
health.
One day I
was driving by Khalsa Chiropractic and decided to stop in
and check it out. From the time I first came in, I felt
like I was part of the family—the people were so warm and
friendly. Dr. Mha Atma is so wonderful and professional.
He recommended exercises, healthy eating, and adjustments as
needed.
The
results of my chiropractic treatment with Dr. Mha Atma were
excellent. Now, less than four months after starting
treatment, the pain is completely gone. My life has been
profoundly impacted by chiropractic care with Dr. Mha Atma
and his wonderful team.
I have
told all my friends and family members about my chiropractic
experience. I hope my wife and all my family will soon be
receiving Dr. Mha Atma’s wonderful chiropractic care. Since
I started chiropractic care my health has changed
dramatically and I am enjoying my life much more. I love
chiropractic and have found that it is the best medicine for
my problem.

For more
than a year I had pain in both of my legs. My legs hurt
while I was sitting but they were especially bad when I was
standing or walking. I already had both of my hips
replaced—one five years before and the other a year later.
My son
Lindsay was a patient at Khalsa Chiropractic, and after
talking with him I decided to come see Dr. Mha Atma. I had
gone to a chiropractor about 20 years ago, but never since
then. Everyone here seemed very nice and helpful. Dr. Mha
Atma examined me and recommended that I come for treatment
three times the first week, then twice a week for about a
month. The treatment was very gentle.
After
one month of treatment my legs felt much better, and I then
came in once a week for another month or so. My legs felt
good! Now I am coming in for maintenance treatment every
three or four weeks, and feeling well. I feel very pleased
with my chiropractic treatment and have recommended it to
several friends. Thank you!

KAREN
DILWORTH
Chronic
pain in my neck and shoulders and right arm prevented me from sleeping.
The pain would flare up sporadically and last several days.
However, I’d been in constant pain for a month before coming to see Dr.
Mha Atma. The pain was persistent and kept me awake most nights.
I had
been taking prescription-strength ibuprofen, Vicodin and
other medications for several months—they did nothing.
I also tried physical therapy with very little results.
The Vicodin made me drowsy and I was unable to take it and
go to work or maintain regular activities.
I’d heard
of chiropractic from a co-worker and decided to try
something different because what I’d been doing wasn’t
working. I didn’t know if it would help but I was
hopeful.
When I
arrived at Khalsa Chiropractic everyone was warm, friendly
and positive. Dr. Mha Atma was very patient in
explaining what was going on with my neck and why I was
experiencing pain. His recommendations included:
1) Eat less inflammatory foods (bread, sugar, pasta, etc.),
2) Get regular chiropractic treatments, 3) Drink lots of
water, 4) Change my sleeping position from stomach to back,
5) Have my vitamin D levels checked and take supplements to
increase the levels to normal, 6) Practice better posture,
and 7) Exercise!
I’ve been
coming to Dr. Mha Atma for almost three months now. I
began to notice a difference after the first couple of
weeks. My pain gradually became less severe and less
chronic. I was able to sleep better and I began to
feel stronger and more energetic.
I am
grateful that I found out about chiropractic care. It has made a
great difference in how I feel physically as well as emotionally.
I have recommended it to several close friends, and co-workers too.
Thanks so much for the wonderful care and all of the valuable
information you continually share with me and all of your patients.
You are truly making a difference.

I have
been a patient at Khalsa Chiropractic for over 20 years. In
that time I have learned that there is much more to
chiropractors than meets the eye.
Dr.
Khalsa is a sensitive and caring master holistic educator.
He has taught me how to keep healthy by stressing to me the
importance of eating right, exercising regularly and
maintaining a healthy mind about life and the people who are
in my life. Whenever I have had problems with my body, Dr.
Khalsa has been able to “coax” my body to heal itself.
Chiropractic healing has made a significant difference in my
health and has improved the quality of my life and those
around me. I feel blessed to have met Dr. Khalsa and to have
been introduced to the subtle power of chiropractic
treatment.

BEN

I was
driving to work and I was sideswiped by a large truck. My
neck started hurting really bad. It was severely stiff and
painful—I couldn’t move my head and I couldn’t work. After
a week it wasn’t any better.
I knew
that most doctors like to treat the symptoms rather than the
problem. I don’t like taking pills because I am an
athlete. I’d had chiropractic treatment before and I was
impressed with the results. So instead of going to a
medical doctor or taking drugs I came to Khalsa
Chiropractic.
I liked
the warm energy here that came from everyone. I got a very
good feeling from the doctor and staff. Dr. Mha Atma
examined me and recommended frequent chiropractic
adjustments. Within a few weeks I was feeling much better
and able to return to work and within two months I was
feeling great.
I am
greatly blessed to have found Khalsa Chiropractic. I have
told most of my friends about my experience here. Thank you
Dr. Mha Atma, Martha, Madeline and Hope!

ODELL
MCMULLEN
I had
back pain all the time and pain down my right leg. I had
the pain for many years and it was getting worse at night.
It was hard to get out of bed in the morning. The doctor I
saw wanted to do surgery on my back but said there were “no
guarantees.” I had been to other doctors and they just gave
me pain medication which did not help. I had never been to
a chiropractor before but my daughter told me I should give
it a try.
Dr. Mha
Atma had me come for some treatments and gave me some light
exercises and some instruction about eating right. I could
not believe how soon I started to feel better. Since I
started treatment I have been able to sleep at night. I can
walk a little better. It is less than three months since I
started treatment and the pain in my back and my leg is much
better now.
My
grandson and my daughter both started treatment here before
I did. They are both feeling much better. I have continued
with chiropractic treatment because I really feel the
difference in my body. And I have told some friends about
chiropractic because I think it could really help them. I
advise anyone starting chiropractic to continue the
treatment as long as the doctor recommends because it really
will help.

ROCHELLE HOGUE
I had
chronic sciatica-like pain in my lower back, left hip, and
left leg, as well as chronic, severe tension in my neck and
right shoulder. I also suffered from general fatigue and an
overall sense of not feeling right. The back and leg pain
started about ten years ago; the neck and shoulder pain was
there for several years as well.
It’s
funny when things start gradually—you manage to excuse it
away, then compensate by holding your body a certain way,
and the next thing you know, nothing you do helps and you’re
walking around in constant discomfort. I occasionally took
ibuprofen, but I didn’t like taking it because I knew I was
only temporarily targeting the symptoms, not treating the
cause.
Before I
ever came to Khalsa Chiropractic, I was taking walks early
in the morning and I’d walk past the building. It felt like
I’d been circling the place for months. I was highly
recommended to Dr. Mha Atma during a chance meeting with a
very nice woman named Carla. Getting a recommendation is
the best advertisement.
Once I
finally came in to make my first appointment, it felt very
homey and welcoming. Dr. Mha Atma recommended twice weekly
appointments for a month or so, and then once weekly. I did
come in twice a week for four weeks, then once a week for
the next three months. In addition to his very sure-handed
adjustments, Dr. Mha Atma also gave me some simple exercises
and stretches to do. I’ve done these faithfully and believe
they have paid an integral part in helping me heal.
I walked
into this office with pretty intense chronic pain. I felt
totally disjointed, like a Picasso painting. I was aware of
every step I took because it hurt. Now I feel like all my
sticky rusty parts finally got some oil and I’m not creaky
and squeaky anymore. Now when I move I feel like a
jellyfish—like I’m floating. I still have some neck and
shoulder issues, but it continues to get better, slowly but
surely. I know that chiropractic will always be a part of
my general health maintenance. It’s like brushing and
flossing, but for your bones and joints!
Years ago
I encouraged my mother to see a chiropractor and she still
goes to this day for general health maintenance. She no
longer has the pain she used to have and no longer has to
take medication. I have told many others about
chiropractic—as many as there are stars in the sky!
Also I
would like to mention the amazing staff who treat each
patient with the utmost courtesy and respect. Walking into
the office feels like being given a nice warm hug. Thank
you all!

MARIANNE POWELL
For six
weeks I had severe pain in my lower back and down my left
leg to my calf. I could not walk far, and I had pain
frequently, especially getting up in the morning or after a
nap. I took painkillers occasionally which helped a
little. I did not see any doctors for this condition—I knew
chiropractic was called for.
A
previous good experience with a chiropractor in Pasadena led
me to look for one in L.A. I found Dr. Mha Atma’s business
card at Yoga West where I was working.
I found
the office to be very warm and the doctor seemed very
capable. The office was great—it was neat and provided
water, tea and delicious apples. The doctor was clean and
knowledgeable, firm and kind.
He
started treatment the first visit and also recommended
certain exercises to practice daily and attendance at his
Wellness Workshop. The treatment resulted in a steady
loosening of the “stuck” vertebrae and a rapid lessening of
the pain. The exercises were helpful in increasing
flexibility and strengthening my body. The Wellness
Workshop was refreshing and informative.
The
care from the doctor and his staff was exceptional. Thank
you so very much. Peace!

TOM LESTER
I have
had pain on the right side of my neck for decades—since my
early 20s. I began chiropractic treatment many years ago
because I was in very severe pain from TMJ. I have seen
many chiropractors with positive results but still had some
pain.
I came to
Khalsa Chiropractic for ongoing treatment and found it very
helpful. I am very impressed with the doctor and the
staff. The treatment has been great, and the stretches Dr.
Mha Atma gave me are very helpful. In the past year, since
I have been coming here, I have had my pain disappear and my
overall health improve including my state of mind—a much
more positive feeling.
I have
great faith in chiropractic, would absolutely recommend it,
and have told many others about its benefits. I am very
glad I found Dr. Mha Atma—the best chiropractor I have ever
been to!

ZELDA BARROW
I was
unable to walk for nine months because of striking pain in
my lower back and in my left calf. I was in a wheelchair.
For months my primary doctor sent me to different
specialists but not one seemed to know what was going on
with me. Finally they took an MRI of my lower back and said
that the problem came from my spine.
I refused
to take more than one pain medication which was
extra-strength Tylenol. I was very worried that I wouldn’t
be able to walk again. Then my church sister suggested that
I see Dr. Mha Atma. She gave me the phone number and I
called right away. I didn’t know if chiropractic could
help, but I had to try everything I could, hoping something
will work.
I came to
Khalsa Chiropractic the first time in a wheelchair.
Everyone was so nice. I felt the difference my first
treatment. Dr. Mha Atma asked me to come for regular
treatments and taught me some very useful exercises which I
am still doing today. Later I heard him explain in the
Wellness Workshop all that we should and should not do to
keep a healthy spine.
When I
started my treatment, I progressed from a wheelchair, to a
walker, and now to a cane. I am walking with a cane now and
feeling much better. I found that chiropractic works and I
will tell everyone what chiropractic care has done for me.
I
thank everyone for being so nice, and Dr. Mha Atma for such
a well-done job!

DIANA DESIO
I had
such a stiff neck that I could barely turn my head. It was
a challenge driving without being able to move my head!
Most of the pain I get is in my neck and upper back. I also
have suffered from tension headaches and occasional
migraines. I had been to my medical doctor who prescribed a
muscle relaxant which gave temporary relief but I could not
take them long term and they made me drowsy which made
driving dangerous.
When I
couldn’t move my neck a co-worker suggested Khalsa
Chiropractic to me. I was able to get an appointment that
same day! A chiropractic adjustment always makes me feel
better, so I knew it would help.
I was
very impressed on my first appointment by the care and
detail taken by the staff and doctor to inform me what my
experience and treatment would be like. I had been to
another chiropractor but had never had my condition
explained to me as I did here. Dr. Mha Atma gave me some
stretches and exercises to help with the pain, along with
regular chiropractic treatments.
After my
first treatment I was able to move my neck. Then I had
about six treatments in the first couple of weeks and I was
about 90 percent better. It was great! I still get a
twinge every now and then, but I know that relief is just an
adjustment away.
I would
absolutely recommend chiropractic care to people who need to
feel better and stay healthy and I have directly encouraged
at least 5 or 6 to try chiropractic. I love it and am glad
it’s available to me, even when I had no insurance! At the
time I first came in I did not have medical insurance and I
was so happy that I got amazing care and treatment at such
an affordable price.
Everyone in the office has been so warm and welcoming. I
really feel special and cared for when I’m here.

HASSAN FARHOOD
I had
a frozen shoulder. It was painful to move it more than a
little bit. I had pain in my shoulder and upper arm and in
my back for months. It was serious, even crippling.
I take
no medications. I don’t believe in ingesting toxic
chemicals. I had never been to a chiropractor before but I
chose to come after listening to an intuitive, inner voice.
I felt that chiropractic would help me.
From
the first visit I was very impressed with Dr. Mha Atma, with
the Khalsa Chiropractic office, and with the results. My
progress was observable on a weekly basis. Besides the
chiropractic treatment twice weekly, Dr. Mha Atma
recommended eating mostly raw vegetarian food. The whole
treatment took four months to resolve the frozen shoulder
and the back pain, with over 90 percent healing at the end
of that time.
I am
telling everyone I know about the benefits of chiropractic.
I recommend that they be patient with their healing progress
since changes in connective tissue take time. I love
chiropractic care. It is my first line of therapy for
structural issues and above all I would use it for my
family.
Chiropractic therapy with Dr. Mha Atma exceeded my
expectations. I leave his office with a deep physical sense
of relief from pain and discomfort. Dr. Mha Atma, however,
is more than a chiropractor. He is an excellent
nutritionist and deeply understands the human body and its
balance and harmony.

PAIGE COOPER
After training to run the LA
Marathon 2 years ago, I began experiencing lower back pain.
I kept thinking it was only temporary and that it would go
away, but when the pain continued for 6 months after I
stopped running, I saw my first chiropractor. Unfortunately,
I didn’t see any results from this practitioner, so when my
hiking buddy Mimi told me how incredible her chiropractor
Dr. Khalsa was, I decided to switch and see him. Even
though I was skeptical because my first chiropractic
experience wasn’t successful, I was in pain and needed
help.
As soon as I began seeing Dr.
Khalsa, my lower back pain began to decrease. I first saw
him twice a week for 4 weeks, then only needed to see him
once a week, and finally once every three weeks. He told me
from the very beginning that I needed to eat a more
anti-inflammatory diet and do some basic core exercises he
showed me. I did the exercises for about a week and tried to
gradually add more fruits and vegetables, but the
consistency of a good diet was lacking; However, my back
pain was gone, so I thought I was doing pretty well.
I was wrong.
About 2 months ago, I got a
new puppy. After bending down and playing with her all day,
I knew that night I was in trouble. The next morning, my
back was in so much pain that I couldn’t get out of bed.
With a brand new puppy in the kitchen, I painfully hobbled
out of bed, called Dr. Khalsa’s office and got in to see him
that morning. I had strained my lower back and needed to see
him 3 times that week and for 3 weeks after. I was basically
confined to my bed with an ice pack on my back for the first
week, and only got out of the house to let my puppy out and
to see Dr. Khalsa.
I’ve never experienced pain
like that, and I learned that the back strain was largely
due to having a weak core because I had not done the daily
core exercises Dr. Khalsa had recommended for the past year.
- shame, shame!
Even before the pain was
gone, I began doing the core exercises as best I could and
continued to see Dr. Khalsa. Within a week, I was walking
normally again. Within 3 weeks, the pain had gone entirely,
and now I see him again once every 3 weeks for maintenance.
Because of Dr. Khalsa’s truly
healing hands and the kindness, concern, and care of his
entire staff, my back and entire body are so much stronger
than ever before. I enjoy coming into the office with the
calming environment, teas, and apples, and I now protect my
back by using supportive pillows, shoes, and completing my
core exercises on a regular basis. I’m still working on the
diet, but I am much more conscious now of the foods I eat
and whether or not they are anti-inflammatory.
I have
shared my chiropractic experience and the knowledge I’ve
gained to all my friends and family, and while some remain
skeptical, the ones who have experienced real back pain know
the benefits of a truly gifted chiropractor.

JEFF MACK
My lower
back was hurting so bad I had difficulty standing, and a
nerve pinching in my leg made it hurt to sit down at work.
Besides the pain in my lower back and left leg, I also had
stiffness in my upper and middle back. I have suffered on
and off for over a decade.
On a
scale of 1 to 10 I would say the severity of the pain was
about an eleven. I have seen medical doctors and had images
taken and nothing helped. I was told that muscle relaxants
and pain pills were most likely going to be a way of life
whenever my back hurt. The next step in their opinion would
be surgery. Their medical treatments just masked the pain.
I hate taking medicine because it impairs the entire body.
A
co-worker had been coming to Khalsa Chiropractic and
suggested I try chiropractic. I had never been to a
chiropractor and I had HUGE doubts! I didn’t think it would
help and I thought it wasn’t real. But I was in so much
pain I was willing to try anything!
When I
arrived I thought the office was very soothing and
relaxing. The staff was very helpful and nice, and the
doctor put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. He
recommended a treatment regimen and home exercises.
I have
been coming for three months now and I feel amazing! My leg
no longer hurts and my back feels great. I am like a new
man.
I would
now recommend chiropractic care to everyone. I would say
don’t wait until it gets so bad—prevent what I endured. It
is worth all the money in the world. I tell everyone I know
about chiropractic, both locally and around the country. I
am a convert! It is absolutely amazing. I was most likely
the biggest skeptic EVER! Now I am chiropractic’s biggest
fan!
Dr.
Mha Atma really cares about the overall well being of his
patients. I have had such a great experience here! I plan
to be a long time patient to make sure I maintain health and
well-being!

JOYCE WEATHERSBY
Before
I first came to see Dr. Mha Atma ten years ago (1998) I had
severe pain in the middle of my lower back and severe pain
in my right hip. These problems prevented me from bending,
walking or sitting. My doctor had diagnosed me in 1980 with
a “bruised vertebra”. The treatment consisted of pain
killers, which did not fix the problems but relaxed me and
made me sleep.
I did not
want to live my life taking pain killers. I chose Dr. Mha
Atma because of his holistic lifestyle. I was confident
that chiropractic would help because, as a girl, my mother
treated me with herbs when I was sick and she went to a
chiropractor who treated her for arthritis in her arms and
legs and made her feel well.
When I
came to Khalsa Chiropractic I found that the staff was
filled with love and gentleness. They were professional and
nurturing and made me feel comfortable. I felt like I was
in a country doctor’s office where I knew the good doctor
would take care of me. Dr. Mha Atma told me that regular
adjustments would be the key to my healing and also taught
me how to sleep properly.
Since I
began chiropractic treatment I have not had pain in my lower
back and hip for a long time. When I do have pain I come in
and get an adjustment and I feel fine. I have continued
with chiropractic care because it is so healing and always
works. Chiropractic has allowed me to work in my yard and
take care of my grandchildren and play with them when they
come to visit. I can also go salsa dancing every Saturday
night from 9 PM to 1:30 AM non-stop.
Chiropractic has helped my son-in-law. He can now cycle 136
miles a week and sit at his desk for long periods of time.
I have told everyone in my family and many friends about
chiropractic. I would want everyone to know about the
healing benefits I received. If you have just started
chiropractic care, I recommend that you continue with the
treatment and you will definitely get results.
It is
a matter of life and death to me to continue treatments with
Dr. Mha Atma. This office has made me feel comfortable and
warm—when I come here I feel like I am visiting with family
and friends. The staff has made my grandchildren feel
comfortable. Dr. Mha Atma sincerely cares about my
well-being and I am thankful for that.

ARTHUR SALDANHA
I was
having lower back pain and headaches. My lower back and
shoulders were always hurting and tight. I’d had the
problems for years. I never thought they were related to my
posture and spine.
Although
the problem was moderately painful, I never saw any doctors
for it and I certainly never went to a chiropractor. I used
to think that chiropractic was “hippie magic.”
My
girlfriend roped me in, luring me to see Dr. Mha Atma with a
certificate for a no-charge first visit that he gives for
Patient Appreciation Day. I always thought that
chiropractic was not a real science and I doubted it could
be of any help. I was
so wrong!
Dr. Mha
Atma helped me work on my posture and adjusted my lower back
and neck. My headaches went away and my lower back and
shoulders now feel great!! Now, I absolutely recommend
chiropractic to others, and I’ve given Dr. Mha Atma’s info
to friends and even to complete strangers complaining of
back problems.
I
really don’t know why I fought chiropractic care for so
long. When I finally came, I did so begrudgingly. But
after just a few weeks, I found myself really enjoying my
visits and feeling
so much better after leaving. I
now have so much respect for the science of chiropractic.

LORI MOORE
For over
ten years I had neck and shoulder pain which made it
difficult for me to sleep well. I was told by doctors that
my sleep problem was caused by allergies. I took sleeping
pills for a short period. They didn’t help—I did not feel
well-rested.
My
mother, Jestine Moore, told me about Khalsa Chiropractic
three years ago. She said that she had been feeling better
since starting chiropractic treatment. I noticed that her
posture had improved. I came to see Dr. Mha Atma once a
couple of years ago, and this year I finally came back to
start regular treatment. I was very pleased with everyone
in the office. Dr. Mha Atma and his staff are very
professional and caring individuals.
Dr. Mha
Atma suggested that I maintain a healthy diet and exercise,
and that I begin chiropractic treatment by coming twice
weekly. My body was very tense and tight. Now after a few
months of treatment, I am able to get a very good night’s
sleep and I feel well rested in the morning. The tension
and pain in my body has been reduced about 75 percent.
After
researching chiropractic care and experiencing the benefits,
I am extremely pleased about my results. It has been a
pleasure coming to this office to receive my chiropractic
adjustments. Dr. Mha Atma and his staff have been friendly
and very knowledgeable about the benefits of chiropractic
care and a healthy lifestyle. I look forward to my
treatments each week. I am convinced that I made the right
decision to start chiropractic care. I feel great!

STEPHANIE STEPHENS
I started
with Dr. Khalsa when my lower back went into spasm. I was
waking up each morning with a headache, and experiencing
dizziness several times during the day. My right shoulder
and neck were painful and stiff. But it was my lumbar
spasms that drove me to seek chiropractic help.
I have
used chiropractic throughout my life as the first line of
treatment because my Dad was a chiropractor and I was raised
to know that this is an effective approach for physical
ailments. But, as is usual as life goes on, I had become
lax about maintenance.
I have
always avoided medication, and have had a succession of
chiropractors through the years—some more effective than
others.
I decided
to give Dr. Khalsa’s treatment a try because he is covered
by my medical insurance and he is near where I live. I had
found in the past that the drive home from treatment tended
to cause my back pain to recur, so distance is important for
me.
I was
pleased at my first visit by the neatness of the office, the
warmth of the personnel and by Dr. Khalsa’s thorough and
very professional demeanor. I began a frequent schedule of
adjustments, gradually spacing them out as my complaints
lessened.
Dr.
Khalsa has given me a series of exercises to help improve
my conditions and, along with regular adjustments, my
symptoms have improved nearly to the point of complete
freedom from pain and dizziness.
Chiropractic is a philosophy of health that I am always
happy to share enthusiastically with friends and family. I
find Dr. Khalsa’s treatments to be efficient and effective,
given with caring as well as thought and experience.

KATHLEEN NEARY
I threw
my lower back out and I couldn’t walk. I was horizontal on
the floor for the weekend. I was taking Tylenol and a
friend gave me some Vicodin. I was in so much pain and a
friend suggested I see Dr. Mha Atma. I’d never been to a
chiropractor before or really had any experience with a “bad
back.” It had never crossed my mind to see a chiropractor
for preventative reasons.
I loved
the office right away! It had a cute homey feeling and
Mikaela’s welcoming was about as warm as it could be. The
apples and tea and everything were warm and welcoming.
Dr. Mha
Atma recommended some stretches along with chiropractic
treatment. I really liked his explanation about the way my
spine moves, using props to show me what was happening and
patiently answering all my questions. He also gave me
stretches, exercises and eating suggestions as I was ready
for them. Nothing felt overwhelming.
Gradually my back got much better. Now it feels great! I’ve
already recommended chiropractic care to a couple of
friends. I think chiropractic is amazing and that Dr. Mha
Atma has magic hands. Thank you thank you!

TASH MOSLEY
I
initially visited Dr. Khalsa after experiencing a nerve
pinch in my back during November 2001. I was young at the
time and concerned that the pinch meant that somehow I would
have irrevocably bad posture and overall health. The pain
lasted a month before I decided to seek treatment and my
first stop was Dr. Khalsa. Prior to visiting Dr. K I wasn’t
keen on regular doctor visits because I figured I was young
and healthy and my body knew the perfect way to sustain and
rejuvenate itself.
I visited
Doctor Khalsa at the behest of my aunt Inless. She educated
me that my spine is the superhighway of health. She told me
that if I was experiencing congestion in one part of the
spine it would affect me elsewhere and the perfect
sustenance and rejuvenation I expected could be blocked.
Although
it was my first time to visit a chiropractor, I went to Dr.
Khalsa with an open mind and heart and wound up learning
more about my overall health. He recommended I come often
at first for adjustments and then come just occasionally.
After ten sessions of regular treatment I felt great—the
pinch was completely gone, never to return. I stood taller
and felt more relaxed.
I have
been a regular patient ever since—for almost seven years. I
have continued with chiropractic care because it always
makes me feel good. I now have a greater and holistic
understanding of my health and its relationship to
everything from food consumption to media consumption.
My mom
and brothers have been chiropractic patients, and have
experienced overall health benefits. I would recommend
chiropractic care to anyone but particularly with Dr. Khalsa
because under his stewardship it is a lesson in maintaining
overall physical and mental health. I now feel that
chiropractic care is a must—a lifelong addition to keeping
me flexible in mind and body.
The
staff—Hope, Mikaela, Simran and Martha—are a joy. I enjoy
seeing every one of them each time I do. Thank you and God
Bless.

KELLY
RAREY
My
neck and shoulders and my lower back were very tight for
years. It was a frequent annoyance but I never saw a doctor
or took any medications—I just lived with it. A friend
recommended Dr. Mha Atma so highly that I was very curious
about what he could do for me.
The
office made a great impression on me. The entire place has
a relaxing energy—from the tea to the friendly faces in the
front to the cozy atmosphere. Dr. Mha Atma recommended
continued regular chiropractic visits and
stretching/strengthening exercises.
I was
really impressed with how quickly I felt relief. One of the
biggest changes now is that when I’m on my feet for long
periods of time my back doesn’t hurt. I just feel great
overall! I feel like my posture has improved and that my
body is more relaxed.
I have
absolutely been recommending chiropractic care to others.
It really seems like everyone could benefit and I think that
many people are like I was—they feel “off” but not bad
enough that it feels urgent to take care of it. I now think
chiropractic is wonderful and look forward to continuing my
care.
I do
my best to lead a healthful, holistic lifestyle. Since
beginning my chiropractic care I have been motivated to make
changes in my exercise routine that have shown great results
and have also done a 3-week detox diet, and I now truly feel
that I am at my best. This is a big year for me—lots of job
changes and getting married very soon—and I found my
chiropractic adjustments to be nice reminders to take care
of myself and to nurture my body and soul amidst everything
that is going on in the world.

JOE TORRES
I’ve had
back pain for 20 years, both excruciating lower back pain
and shooting sciatica. One night a couple of years ago, my
wife and I had one of her very good friends, Elena Lobito,
over to the house for dinner. My back had been acting up
all week and I was not in a very good mood because of it.
So when my wife ratted me out, Elena immediately said “You
should go see my guy—he’s terrific and will really help
you.” Turned out her “guy” is Dr. Mha Atma.
I was
more than a little skeptical of doctors in general and had
seen a chiropractor before with no positive effects. But at
my wife’s urging (translation: persistent nagging) I made an
appointment with Khalsa Chiropractic. When I returned home
afterwards, she was surprised to see a smile on my face.
The pain was eased tremendously in just that first session.
I became such a true believer that I immediately purchased
10 sessions (Khalsa Chiropractic gave me a pre-pay
discount!) and have been going regularly ever since. I
recently received another 10-session packet from my wife for
my birthday gift!
Dr.
Mha Atma is caring, compassionate and a true professional.
Khalsa Chiropractic is a warm, friendly place and the ladies
in the front office are so nice and welcoming. It has
changed my life. Now whenever I hear someone say that they
have back problems, I say, “You should go and see MY guy!”

LEONARD LUMAS
For over
ten years I had pain in my hips, stiffness and pain in my
lower back, and my neck always ached. I had very occasional
chiropractic treatment but no corrective care or complete
spinal adjustments. The symptoms remained.
A friend
of mine bragged about Dr. Mha Atma. I came with her to
observe her treatment and was impressed by how Dr. Mha Atma
went right to the problem areas—some of which I suffered
from but had never been treated. I knew he could help me!
I was
impressed by the kindness of the staff and Dr. Mha Atma’s
professional approach to treating the spine and entire
body. This was obviously a conscious office and practice.
I started
regular treatment 3 times weekly, then twice weekly, now
once weekly. Dr. Mha Atma gave me sitting and standing
exercises, and I attended his class on wellness and
nutrition.
For the
short amount of time it takes for my treatment my life is so
much better. I feel great. And when I drive I can now turn
my head and see better over my shoulders.
I have
now told dozens of people about the benefits of chiropractic
care and highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you!

JAMES SCHNEIDER
My lower
back was acutely painful. It was debilitating—I couldn’t
walk or stand up. I needed help.
I came to
Khalsa Chiropractic because the office is in my neighborhood
and I had heard good things about it. I had previous
positive experiences with chiropractic and, although I was a
mess, I was confident it would help.
"James' dog"
I found
the office to be a peaceful place and seriously focused on
promoting good health without condescension. Dr. Mha Atma
recommended some intensive chiropractic treatment along with
exercise, healthy diet, and rest. The results were very
positive. I felt almost immediate improvement, and with
frequent treatment for a couple of months felt very much
better. Now I am continuing with less frequent, twice
monthly maintenance treatment.
I am a
big proponent of chiropractic care and recommend it whenever
I can. It has been a good experience to reconnect with my
body. And to be reminded about the proper care and feeding
of the body!

CHIRELLE LOONEY
For years
I had pain in my neck and shoulders and back and headaches.
I was constantly trying to relieve it by turning, squirming,
and twitching and kept trying to pop it back into place
without success. I didn’t go to any doctors or take
any medications for this, but I just couldn’t sit or stand
still. I told my friend Kandi about it and she said
she felt the same way until she found Dr. Mha Atma. I
wasn’t sure if chiropractic could help me but at that point
I didn’t care, I couldn’t stand another day, so I called and
scheduled an appointment.
On my
first visit the calming atmosphere of the office and the
wonderful staff made me feel positive and hopeful. Dr.
Mha Atma recommended corrective chiropractic care beginning
at three visits weekly, then twice a week. I had
ignored the problem so long that it has taken frequent
treatment for awhile to correct, but I am thrilled with the
results. I feel so much better and in my opinion Dr.
Mha Atma is a miracle worker.
I’m
definitely a believer now and have been giving out Dr. Mha Atma’s cards
to friends and acquaintances. I’m so grateful to Kandi for
referring me to Khalsa Chiropractic that I almost can’t find the right
words to express my appreciation. I have the highest regard for
Dr. Mha Atma and am immensely grateful to him for everything he has done
to help me feel better. What a world of difference since I have
been coming for chiropractic care! Thank you from the bottom of my
heart.

JANA EDWARDS
For at
least two years I was having back pain so severe that it
interrupted my work, sleep and play. The pain was in my
lower and middle back and also in my neck. It caused
sleepless nights and I had no concentration ability at
work. It became a continuous problem. I took Advil—that
was no help. I was also prescribed Vicodin and that made me
very sick so I discontinued it.
I had
never had a chiropractic adjustment in my life. I was
referred to Khalsa Chiropractic by my Kaiser physician in
June 2007. I was totally afraid of the word chiropractor.
I doubted that it would help. But I wanted some
relief—quickly and safely. I also wanted to understand how
and why my body was having these problems, and no one had
been able to explain it to me.
I found
Dr. Mha Atma and the office to be very professional and
caring. He recommended twice weekly and then once-weekly
adjustments, explaining every step of an adjustment and what
I should expect from my visits. I was very glad that the
doctor called me the day after my first adjustment just to
see how I was feeling.
Now,
after about six months, the pain is very minimal. I am
sleeping much better, able to concentrate, and just enjoying
life. Dr. Mha Atma also gave me a lot of information about
nutrition and exercise which has helped me tremendously. I
now know that chiropractic is truly wonderful. When I have
a chance, I explain the process to people who may be afraid
(as I was). Thank you!

GAIL BRAUNER
I had
just moved back to California from out of state and had all
the strains and stresses of a long-distance move. My
shoulders and upper back felt very tight and my range of
motion was limited. I also had worked at an office job for
years and had tension from sitting at a desk too long.
I’ve
actually been a fan of chiropractic for years and had been
seeing someone in Minnesota. It always made me feel better
but I still had some stress in my upper body. A friend of a
friend recommended Khalsa Chiropractic so I came to the
Wellness Workshop. I was very impressed with Dr. Mha Atma’s
knowledge and the staff’s professionalism and helpful
attitude. I found the atmosphere in the office very
welcoming.
When I
came in as a patient shortly after the workshop, Dr. Mha
Atma recommended weekly treatments until my condition
stabilized. Now after two months I’m feeling greater range
of motion in my upper back and shoulders, less tension, and
even a more positive attitude. It’s brought me more inner
peace and relaxation too!
I’m
feeling really great now and look forward to regular
maintenance visits. I would definitely recommend
chiropractic to others. I’ve always believed in
chiropractic, but Dr. Mha Atma has helped take my body and
spirit to a whole new level!

ARON WOERTINK
For a
couple of months I had lower back pain and numbness
throughout my left leg. I had difficulty sleeping,
difficulty focusing during the day, and a lack of energy. I
also had neck discomfort. I was unable to pick my children
up. I could not stand up and play with them—not good.
My wife
came to Khalsa Chiropractic and raved about her visit and
about the professionalism of the doctor and staff. I had
been to a chiropractor before and had no doubt that it would
help. When I first came to the office, it felt like home.
There was great music, treats, and tea. I trusted the
doctor instantly, and the staff as well.
Most
doctors have not taken the time to understand the issues and
proper treatments needed to become well. Dr. Mha Atma
follows through and monitors the results. He had me come
for adjustments twice a week for several weeks, then once
weekly. He gave me various exercises for stretching and
strengthening my back. Gradually my body became more limber
and relaxed. I can focus easier on work and have more
energy—two-fold. In short, I feel amazing, and I sleep
better too.
My
wife has benefited from treatment here…and now she is less
cranky with me! I absolutely recommend chiropractic and
have talked to many family members and friends about it.
I’m sold. I would come here every day if I could.

CHIKO &
PAULETTA FLOYD
Although
we’ve both had treatments with many chiropractors over the
years, we’ve never experienced such techniques and results
as we have received from Dr. Mha Atma. My husband Chiko was
experiencing painful headaches and lower back pain and had
limited movement in his neck. I was seen for shoulder pain
as well as severe back spasms (sometimes so bad I couldn’t
move) and foot pain.
On the
initial visits Dr. Mha Atma took time to enlighten us about
how the nerves in our spine have a direct link to every
organ of the body in some way. He explained that regular
adjustments could eliminate many problems including those we
sometimes don’t realize we have. I must say that in the
beginning we were a bit skeptical—after all we have gone
down this road so many times before. What could he do that
the others hadn’t done already?
But we
must admit that our experience at Khalsa Chiropractic has
made a great difference in our lifestyle. The personal care
and professional treatment we’ve received at the Khalsa
Chiropractic facility have truly been a blessing. And we
also love the fact that there is almost no waiting time
getting in for your appointment—now that’s a real blessing.
Thank
you for enhancing our lives and helping to improve our
health.

MONICA SABREDA
I first
came to Khalsa Chiropractic looking for relief from severe
pain in my right arm and neck pain. I was recommended to
Dr. Mha Atma by someone whom I was working with at the
time.
It was
not my first experience with chiropractic. I was bedridden
as a child and was seeing all kinds of medical specialists
and not getting any better. I was receiving home tutoring
in bed and could not use my hands to write. I was willing
to try anything, and when someone suggested that my mother
take me to a chiropractor, my life changed and I got
better.
Dr. Mha
Atma recommended chiropractic adjustments and exercise. He
also recommended listening to my body, which is the best
advice anyone could give. I never experienced the instant
noticeable relief that I have with being treated at Khalsa
Chiropractic. It was often difficult for other
chiropractors to adjust me and they were not as gentle. I
had very positive results from my initial treatment and I
continue to come to keep my body aligned—it is an ongoing
process.
I have
continued with chiropractic care because of the physical
stress of my profession (physical work and lots of
traveling) and my preexisting conditions—I need to continue
to maintain my body with regular adjustments. Ongoing
chiropractic treatment has kept my body from falling apart,
from developing pinched nerves, and other horrible things.
I love
chiropractic care. I wouldn’t trade it for any other form
of treatment. I recommend it to everyone I know as a way to
relieve pain without using drugs and to really be able to
work through it by listening to your body. My advice to
beginning chiropractic patients is that it benefits you more
long term—stick with it and follow the doctor’s instructions
and it will work.
This
office has always accommodated my hectic schedule with
loving kindness. I couldn’t be seeing a better
chiropractor. I was very blessed to find this office. I
feel everyone at this office has your best interest at heart
and everyone works together to make your treatment easy and
enjoyable.

RAYE DOWELL
I
discovered Khalsa Chiropractic after being in a car accident
in Utah. I experienced shock and pain in my lower back and
neck. I was taken to the emergency room immediately after
the accident where they gave me pain killers that numbed the
pain and made me feel drowsy and “out of it.” When the
drugs wore off the pain returned and persisted. I knew
there had to be a more holistic way to treat my symptoms of
headaches and back pain. I knew it was time to try
something new.
Someone
in my Kundalini yoga class recommended I check out Dr. Mha
Atma. I decided, after hearing about the powerful benefits
of chiropractic care, that I should give Khalsa Chiropractic
a try. I had been to a chiropractor before only once, a
long long time before, and I really wasn’t sure about it.
But the recommendations I had were such strong testimonials
that I had faith in the positive benefits.
My first
impression was that the office seemed cozy and nurturing. I
had to surrender any notion of what to expect so I could be
present for the experience. I found Dr. Mha Atma to be
knowledgeable and thorough.
The
treatment was a slow and steady process. I felt that
chiropractic care along with my Kundalini yoga practice
helped release the shock and pain from my lower back. I am
happy to say that I continue to be a patient ten years
later. I find that my body, after giving birth to two sons,
really appreciates and feels better after every adjustment.
I have less migraines and more flexibility. And by
continuing the work I am able to see and feel where and when
my spine and my life are stuck.
During my
time as a patient here my husband discovered the benefits of
chiropractic care, and my children have also had
adjustments. I have shared my experience of chiropractic
with many friends. I recommend it as an excellent tool to
feel better—body, mind and spirit! I suggest that if you
are just beginning chiropractic care not to judge it right
way—allow it to have a cumulative effect and you will see
the benefits.
I feel
very positive about my chiropractic care and find it
extraordinarily beneficial. The doctor and staff at Khalsa
Chiropractic really care about the patients and support us
to be proactive about self-care and maintaining optimum
health.

IRIS PATTON
After a long and ugly separation and divorce my former
husband remarried June 3, 2007. Shortly after his marriage I
found myself unable to walk without the help of a cane. The
debilitating pain radiating from my back and down my left
leg had been building since the beginning of the year. I had
been going to a chiropractor and getting massages but
nothing they seemed to do made the pain go away and not come
back. About four weeks after his marriage the pain in my
body gradually began to subside. Finally, feeling pain and
anguish free, I decided to single
handedly
remove an
overgrown Boston fern from my back yard. The working of my
muscles, the sweat, and expenditure of energy felt good. I
was putting things in order. Tired and hungry, I decided to
push a little more and round out my efforts for the day. In
that last little push which consisted of bending over with a
6 or 7 lb hedge trimmer, I could feel an old back injury
resurface and give way.
The pain that ripped through my mind and body made it
difficult to lie down, to walk, to drive, to sit. I called
on others to help me. They drove me to my appointments, gave
me crutches, and brought me food. The massage therapists I
tried were clueless. I only hurt myself more with their
treatments and recommendations. The chiropractor I had been
seeing before this incident did not seem to acknowledge the
severity of my pain. He gave me the same treatment he had
given me before my back injury and told me I would get past
it. I changed chiropractors. The next doctor took an x-ray
which showed a compressed disk. He suggested I get an MRI
and prescriptions for oral steroidals and pain medication. I
did all three. Then my mother arrived and immediately took
over. My mother took me to a doctor who did ultrasound and
used a vibrating device called a Thumper. Even though I
loathed the idea of taking drugs I found I needed them just
to deal with my pain, my mother and that man using that
Thumper on my back. The only thing that saved me was my
mother bringing me home to LA.
All of September I just let my body heal. Somewhere during
that period I met Kylia, a friend of my niece, who told her
about my back. Kylia gave me her story about how Dr. Mha
Atma helped her and her father. I was impressed. I decided
to give Dr. Mha Atma a try—and I am grateful I did.
When I walked into the office I immediately felt
comfortable. The water, the tea, the apples—everyone was so
thoughtful, so open, so warm and non-judgmental. I needed
that. I gave Dr. Mha Atma the diagnosis of my MRI and he
treated me with such gentleness and concern. The exercises
he gave me and encouragement were just what I needed to
heal. His class on diet, posture, and emotional and mental
trauma affirmed my own beliefs. His use of the acupressure
points allowed me to move my healing to another level with
acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
After just over two months I am sitting and sleeping without
pain. I walk without crutches and twinges in my lumbar spine
are gradually becoming less and less. I can also do my
exercises without pain. I still need to work on consistency
and duration, but I am coming along quite well. I am
pleased.
Thank you Dr. Mha Atma for helping me,

YUMA PEREZ
I first
came to Khalsa Chiropractic because my back was stuck and I
couldn’t move. I had the problem for over a year. It was
painful.
I had
never been to a chiropractor because of all the stories you
hear. But I was at the point where I couldn’t walk and I
figured I had to get over my fear of doctors and do
something. Then a friend recommended Dr. Mha Atma,
I had
lots of doubts, and I didn’t understand that your body needs
to be maintained, just like anything else. When I finally
came, my experience was very positive. The doctor was
someone whom I could trust, and everyone in the entire
office was very friendly and had great positive energy.
Dr. Mha
Atma recommended I come see him twice a week and gave me
exercises to strengthen my back. I also came to the
Wellness Workshop. I gradually went from coming twice a
week to once per month. Now I’m able to walk without pain
and I feel good. I also have changed my way of thinking to
a more positive attitude.
I have
been a patient at Khalsa Chiropractic for almost two years
now. I keep coming because monthly adjustments continue to
keep my body healthy and happy. People who saw me before I
started chiropractic treatment and see me now notice the
difference and I tell them that it pays to be disciplined
about maintaining your health.
I am
very open now to trying different experiences and I have
learned that it was fear that kept me from being well. You
reap what you sow. Life is about choices and positive
thinking. If I say I feel great and do what it takes to get
there I will.

PAULETTE SEAGRAVES
I first
came to see Dr. Mha Atma many years ago at the insistence of
a very dear friend who told me that chiropractic would
improve my heath. I had no pain at the time, and was
skeptical because my two previous experiences going to
chiropractors had not been positive.
Despite
my resistance, I did come to Khalsa Chiropractic, and the
office and Dr. Mha Atma made an immediate and excellent
impression on me. I found Khalsa Chiropractic to be a true
oasis of health and well-being. I found that chiropractic
adjustment—and later the massage treatments I received
here—provided a wonderful support for good health and life
alignment!
Regular
chiropractic adjustments have made a big difference in my
life. I found that they align both my body and my life.
They were especially helpful through eight years of dealing
with chronic fatigue syndrome. Chiropractic treatment has
given me a sense of alignment, balance, greater flexibility
and increased well being.
I talk
about chiropractic care to everyone who will listen. My
brother and sister-in-law in Seattle have found it very
helpful. I highly recommend chiropractic for any physical
concern and to maintain and enhance good health. My advice
to new chiropractic patients is to keep chiropractic
adjustments regular and routine—you are worth the
investment!
Chiropractic has changed my life—and has supported me
through life’s changes. Dr. Mha Atma is the
best
chiropractor. This office really is an oasis of balance,
healing and good health. And the staff is excellent, warm,
caring and supportive!

MIYA SUMI
For two
years I had pain in my hips and lower back when I was
walking, standing or sitting. I saw a physical therapist
for six months and they never gave me a diagnosis. The
treatment never helped and sometimes I felt more pain.
Acupuncture was helpful but too expensive to continue.
I
discovered that my insurance would cover chiropractic, and I
knew several Khalsa Chiropractic patients, including my mom,
who all highly recommended I come. I had only been to a
chiropractor once or twice before, and I was not certain it
would help.
Everyone
at the office here was nice, the setting was comfortable,
and the doctor was very helpful. Besides chiropractic
treatment, he recommended exercise, drinking lots of water,
and that I eat certain foods and stay away from others.
Now after
a few months the pain and stiffness have greatly improved.
The treatments are efficient—I am in and out of the office
quickly, and it’s only a five minute drive from work. Now
I’m working on getting a few folks to see Dr. Mha Atma. I
highly recommend trying chiropractic care before seeing a
medical doctor for the type of problems I had.
Chiropractic is a great option for getting better. I
appreciate that everyone at Khalsa Chiropractic has been
very nice and helpful. And I really like Dr. Mha Atma’s
efforts toward making the world a better place.

MICHELLE SULLIVAN
For many
years I had escalating stiffness and pain in my neck and
lower back and low energy. I could not turn my neck to the
right or left freely and completely and I always felt
uncomfortable. I used Advil but I dislike taking any
medications. I used Tiger Balm. Any relief I got from
acupuncture and massage was only temporary.
I
couldn’t stand feeling uncomfortable any more. The medieval
torture rack sounded like relief.
I had
never been to a chiropractor before I came to Khalsa
Chiropractic. The office was soothing and caring and
holistic. Dr. Mha Atma told me that half my spine and most
of my neck was stuck and I should have come years ago. I
started coming for adjustments twice a week. After two
months I feel 100 percent better, with more freedom of
movement and no pain or stiffness. My energy and mood never
felt so good.
Yes,
I’ve been telling my friends about chiropractic. I love
chiropractic care with Dr. Mha Atma.

SEAN CLARK
I
had severe pain in my neck and back and was bedridden and
unable to work for three weeks. My entire neck and upper
and middle back were painful. It was so severe that I could
not move my neck at all for three weeks. All the doctors at
Kaiser wanted to do was fill me with medication and take
x-rays. I was taking Vicodin, muscle relaxants, and anti-inflammatories.
The Vicodin made me feel bad.
I was
desperate, and a friend strongly recommended that I see Dr.
Mha Atma. I had never been to a chiropractor before, but I
am open-minded and thought it was worth trying.
The staff
here was very friendly. Dr. Mha Atma, and his back-up
doctor Dr. Manjit, are very easy to trust and have an
amazing presence. Dr. Mha Atma recommended three months of
regular treatments with occasional follow-up visits, along
with exercise, a healthy diet, and proper sleep. Within a
week my neck was moving noticeably better, within three
weeks my neck and back were 70 percent better, and now after
two months my body feels completely different. I am
exercising, swimming, lifting weights and taking care of my
body.
I
absolutely would recommend chiropractic to anyone who is
open-minded enough to try it. I feel very positive about
it. And the staff is great!

TOM ALVAREZ
I was in
a car accident which resulted in chronic neck and shoulder
pain. The pain was constant and very distracting. I saw a
physical therapist but the pain persisted.
My friend
Jillian recommended Khalsa Chiropractic. I had never been
to a chiropractor before but I had a favorable impression
because my sister had been a lobbyist representing
chiropractors in Sacramento. I didn’t know for sure if
chiropractic would help, but I didn’t want to try a
traditional doctor due to their “drugs and surgery first”
approach.
From day
one, the doctor and the staff have been helpful. Dr. Mha
Atma is talented and insightful. The treatment has been
very successful. Initially I followed Dr. Mha Atma’s
recommendation for frequent visits and to use a special neck
pillow which I still use today. Now, I feel much better, my
concentration at work is stronger, and my sleep patterns are
greatly improved.
I did
later have another auto accident and knew where to come. I
have been coming to Dr. Mha Atma for several years now and
my condition has improved greatly, although continued
maintenance—once to twice monthly—is necessary. My body now
tells me when I need an adjustment.
I have
told many others about chiropractic. I recommended it to my
fiancé in North Dakota. I told her that chiropractic care
is important but find a doctor she can trust.
Now she
is hooked.
If you
have recently started chiropractic care, I suggest you stay
consistent with treatments and keep a positive mental
attitude. I believe chiropractic is the pinnacle of
preventative care.
